Golden Range Breakout EA is a professional Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5 that captures high-probability breakout moves from any time-defined price range. You specify the start and end time of the range — such as the Asian session, London pre-market, or any window you choose — and the EA automatically tracks the high and low that forms during that period. The moment the range closes, Buy Stop and Sell Stop orders are placed at the boundaries. When price breaks out, the EA manages the trade to completion with three Take Profit modes, four Stop Loss types, and optional ATR or points-based trailing stops. Designed from the ground up for prop firm traders: FTMO-compatible trailing drawdown tracking, a randomised entry delay to avoid pattern detection, and presettable drawdown parameters for FTMO, MyForexFunds, and The5ers. Custom Time Range Definition
Define any start and end time for your range — Asian session, London pre-market, or any window you prefer. The EA tracks the high and low that forms within that window and places orders the moment it closes.
Three Take Profit Modes
Choose how the EA exits winning trades: Range Multiple (e.g. 2× the range size), Fixed Points (a set distance in points), or Close on Time (exit at a specified hour regardless of profit).
Four Stop Loss Types
Set your stop at the opposite end of the range (default), an ATR-based distance, a fixed number of points, or a percentage of entry price. Full flexibility to match your risk model.
ATR Adaptive Trailing Stop
The ATR-based trailing stop dynamically adjusts to market volatility — widening in fast markets and tightening as momentum slows. Includes optional break-even before the trail activates.
FTMO-Ready Drawdown Protection
Three drawdown measurement modes — Equity, Balance, and Trailing (peak-to-trough, the FTMO model) — with three halt actions per limit. Preset configurations for FTMO, MyForexFunds, and The5ers are shown in the documentation.
Prop Firm Randomizer
Adds a configurable random delay (1–60 seconds) between range close and order placement. Helps avoid pattern detection on prop firm platforms that monitor EA behaviour.
